Our Traffolyte labels are manufactured from durable ABET HPL engraving laminate, providing a professional, long-lasting solution for industrial identification, control panels, machinery, plant rooms, electrical equipment, valve systems and general asset marking.
Traffolyte is a rigid laminated plastic material made from contrasting colour layers. When engraved, the top surface is removed to reveal the contrasting core colour underneath, producing clear, permanent and highly legible text, numbers, symbols or logos. This makes it ideal for applications where labels need to remain readable in busy industrial and commercial environments.
These labels are supplied in 1.5mm thick ABET HPL and can be manufactured to your exact specification. Options include different sizes, engraved text, numbers, logos, milled slots, countersunk holes, counterbores, fixing holes and self-adhesive backing. Available with 2 x 3.5mm fixing holes or self-adhesive backing. Larger custom sizes can also be produced, up to 610 x 1220mm.
The material is well suited to practical industrial use. It offers a clean matte finish, sharp engraving contrast and good dimensional stability. ABET HPL also provides BS476 Class 2 fire resistance and has been tested for resistance to dry heat at 180°C with no alteration, making it suitable for many workshop, plant, panel and equipment labelling applications.
A wide range of colour combinations is available, including white/black/white, yellow/black/yellow, red/white/red, black/white/black, orange/white/orange, white/green/white, white/red/white, grey/white/grey, green/white/green, white/blue/white, brown/white/black, blue/white/blue and light blue/white/light blue. This allows labels to be matched to your equipment, site standards or colour-coded identification system.
